The Brookiez Check

Every piece — bag, belt, jacket, jersey — goes through the same five-part check before it's listed. Not a quick glance. A method, applied the same way every time, whether the piece is €40 or €2,000.

01 Date codes & serials Date codes, serial numbers, stamps and holograms — checked against the era and factory they claim to be from.
02 Hardware Weight, finish, engraving depth, zip pulls and screws — the details a counterfeit almost always gets wrong.
03 Stitching Regularity, density, thread colour and symmetry, checked row by row.
04 Materials Leather or canvas type, feel, lining, and a patina that actually matches the piece's age.
05 Construction Heat-stamp typography, edge finishing, feet, pulls, and pattern alignment.
A single doubt in any of the five, and the piece doesn't get listed. Not “probably fine.” Not listed.

What We Cover

The checklist behind each family is brand-specific, not generic — built and kept current across 43 brands: luxury houses in Archive (Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Gucci and more), and streetwear, sportswear and vintage in Bazar (Nike, Supreme, Stone Island and more). Each brand's tells are sourced from established resale-authentication references, not guesswork.

We won't knowingly list a piece we have doubts about. That said, no visual inspection can promise 100% on every pre-owned item, and we'd rather be upfront about that than oversell it.

Condition, Graded Separately
